Environmental cuts in Big, Awful Bill
UPDATE 06/20/2025: The Senate has added provisions to sell off up to $250 million of public lands.
The proposed sale includes major portions of Cleveland National Forest as well as up to 250 million acres of land managed by the BLM and Forest Service.
Congressperson Young Kim, CA-40, voted against the wishes of constituents in favor of the budget bill after promising not to. When the bill left the House it already included provisions to gut environmental protections and roll back climate action*. If the senate makes the proposed changes, the bill returns to the House and Young Kim has another opportunity to get it right this time.
Make your calls to each of Young Kim’s offices to tell her you know what she did and you will vote her out in 2026.
Help us save Democracy! The budget is heading to the Senate next. Please tell everyone you know via email, text message, social media, and in person:
Young Kim is lying about the budget she voted for.
Call your senators (especially if you live in a state with Republican senators) and tell them vote NO on the budget. 202-224-3121
